You are right that when we think of pleasure our minds go right to sex, love and money. But those aren't the only things that make us happy. Alot of little things make me feel good, like sunny days, or puppies. Unlike hinduism I think we tend to focus on what will benefit us more, not what will lead to salvation/liberation.
